On June 5th 2025, Jupiter Machine Tool proudly partnered with Pegasus Manufacturing to host the Meet The Makers Open House event — a landmark occasion that brought together innovators, engineers, and industry leaders under one roof. Guests were treated to live machine demonstrations, guided facility tours, and firsthand experiences with Jupiter’s latest precision equipment.

But the true highlight of the day came during the award ceremony, when Ray and Ruth Whitehead, co-founders of Pegasus Manufacturing, were honored by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) with the title 2025 Illinois Manufacturer of the Year.
